Intellectual Property Attorneys

Cyril Ganguillet received a Master of Science Degree in Civil Engineering in 1974 and then a PhD in 1982 from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology of Lausanne (EPFL). He also received a Master in Law from the University of Lausanne in 1978 and is registered European Patent Attorney since 1989. Before founding ABREMA Agence Brevets et Marques in 1990 in Lausanne (Switzerland), he practiced patent and trademark law for nine years with a prominent patent and trademark firm having offices in Lausanne and Geneva. He has a large experience with patents and in particular in the fields of mechanics, micro-mechanics, machines, machine tools, medical and paramedical devices and apparatuses. He has also a vast experience in design and trademark matters. Cyril is fluent in French and English and has a good knowledge of German.

Ronald Noll received a Master of Science Degree in microtechnology in 1996 from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology of Lausanne (EPFL) and a Master of Science Degree in the management of intellectual property in 1997 from the Queen Mary University of London. He is registered European Patent Attorney since 2002. Ronald began his career in the field of intellectual property in 1997 on behalf of a major Swiss watchmaker group, before managing from 2004 to 2017 the intellectual property department of a company active in the development of solutions for the production of banknotes and like printed security docments. Ronald joined ABREMA in December 2017. His large experience with patents covers in particular the fields of microtechnology, mechanics, electronics and signal processing. Of French mother tongue he is also fluent in English and has a good knowledge of German.

Pascale Lachat received a Master in Biology from the University of Lausanne in 1996 and a PhD in 2000. After work experiences in biomedical research at the University Hospital CHUV and at the Bern University in the chemistry and biochemistry department, she turned towards the intellectual property and achieved the IP Master of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich. Her career in the field of intellectual property began in 2005 in the IP department of an international biopharmaceutical development specialist having its head office in Lausanne. She strengthened her knowledge of law with several trainings as the one of the Center for International Intellectual Property Studies (CEIPI). Pascale joined ABREMA in June 2009. Her specialisations are biotechnology and genetic engineering, biochemistry, diagnostic process and chemistry. She is fluent in French, English and German.

Alliana Heymann (consultant) received a Master degree in law from the University of Paris X in 1999 and a PhD degree of the Universities of Paris X and Geneva in 2004. She has passed the bar examination of Paris in 2003. Alliana is experienced in Trademark law, European community law, International private law and contract law. Before joining ABREMA in April 2007, she worked in the IP department of the luxury goods Group Richemont in Geneva an then as a trademark attorney in a well known law firm of Geneva. She is fluent in German, French and English. Since her childbirth, Alliana has worked as a consultant.
